Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Entry is via completion of an online quote available on the Famous Insurance website www.famousinsurance.com.au, via an entry form or by phone 1300 88 60 29.
2. Entry is open to all permanent Australian residents over the age of 18 years. Directors, management, employees and their immediate families of Calliden Limited and Famous Insurance are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences on the 1st January 2009 at 10:00 (AEDST) and concludes on 31st December 2009 at 17:00 (AEST).
4. To enter the promotion, participants must provide their details by registering a quote on the Famous Insurance website, by an entry form or by phone (see above)
5. Each person is entitled to one entry only.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity.
7. The prize draw will take place at 12:00 (AEST) on Monday 12th January 2010 at Famous Insurance, 7/100 Arthur St, North Sydney NSW 2060. The prize winners will be notified by a letter sent from the Famous Insurance offices on the 13th January 2010. An advertisement will be placed in The Australian newspaper classifieds section advertising the winner on the 14th of January.
8. Prizes: The first three correct entries drawn will receive a $1000 Petrol voucher ($3,000 total).
9. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation.
10. The prize must be consumed at participating Caltex service stations. If the winner is not contactable within 3 months (or the 13th of April) their prize will be forfeited and a single draw will take place for a replacement winner of the competition. This redraw will if needed take place at the Famous Insurance offices, 7/100 Arthur St North Sydney NSW 2060, on the 14th of April 2010 at 12pm and the winner will be notified by a letter sent on the 15th of April 2010.
11. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
12. The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
14 The winner agrees to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
15. The winners of the petrol vouchers must sign a disclaimer to say that the Promoter or Event organisers (Famous Insurance) shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
